Getting rid of the pet duck from Steamfont

<p>The reward from a quest in Steamfont is a pet duck. I summoned it once to see what it looked like, but now I can't get rid of it. There was no option to 'unsummon' it, nor to destroy it. I deleted the duck icon from my inventory of getting rid of it, but it still appears. In pet options, I can hide it, but it reappears every time I zone or relog.</p><p>How do I get rid of it?</p>

Oh bless you. I was having the worst day and this just made me howl. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>As for unsummoning sir quackles ... look for an icon in your maintained spell list to either the right of your screen or up top (assuming you have default setup). Hover your mouse over each icon until you find the steamfont duck and then right click to cancel.</p>

Its so cute!!!</p><p>You should see my hubby on his SK and zerker both have pack ponies trailing behind him, the duck and his their deity pet. He looks hysterical.</p><p>I love that duck!!!!</p>

You could always kill yourself if you don't care to do the simple task of removing the spell. You duck murderer. (cosmetic pets vanish on death usually)

<p>You should see a spell icon in one of your currently active spell lists....mouse over them , one will be the summon duck spell...right click and cancel it.</p>

<p>Also, if you can't find the icon, just "use" the item or hotkey again.  It will cancel out the current spell or pet.  <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" /></p>
