Best Necro/Merc duo?

<p>Thinking about starting a necro after I top off my new BL. </p><p>What merc seems to do best with a necro soloing?  Looking to maximize my killing speed and keep my pet (and myself) alive, even in the face of multi-ups.</p><p>Thanks!</p>

<p>At level 80 I'm using a shadowknight or paladin merc.</p><p>Their dps is insane so they can chew through heroic mobs in about 4 -5 seconds. This lets me run through places like chardok and chelsith with my mage pet. Healing them isn't much of an issue with our normal heal and transference and doesn't really cause any downtime unless you've pulled more than 2 3ups.</p><p>Ran with an inquisitor for a while but killing was much slower.</p>
