Ok now for my next new problem, now that I am back in game. /load_uisettings is opening up an empty box/menu. The toon settings are all in the game folder just like they always have been, but I am stuck with the default ui on every toon.

Ok It is indeed installed in two different directories.

C:UsersPublicSonyOnlineEntertainmentInstalledGames EverQuestII

(This is the new install, that has allot lees files in it, to include missing all the UI settings)

C:ProgramFilesSonyEverQuestII

So which one needs to be deleted? My assumption is the new one but I don't want to screw things up!

The first thing you really want to do is copy all your character UI settings files from the old directory to the new one. Look for files with names that look like "ServerName_CharacterName_eq2_uisettings.xml" and copy all those to the new directory. If you do that, /load_uisettings will show them all in its menu.

Deleting the old installation is a good idea, but you don't need to be in a hurry. Make sure you copy over character settings and other custom stuff before you do.

I got them copied over and that is finally working. I'll wait a bit for wiping anything as suggested. Something else might pop up that I need to move over. Thanks everyone, its good to be back in game and playing again!!

It does sound like the other graphics issues mentioned are roughly following the same behavior pattern. That is, they usually look okay when you first login in, and then break after a certain period of time.
