Hi there, I've had a wee issue with chat colours not sticking, and I was wondering if there was a setting that I've missed somewhere, or if my game is just being odd. Basically, once a line (or more) of chat hits the top of my chat window, it loses colour. If I expand my chat window, the colour comes back! This is with my chat window at a normal size, notice the MOTD is in white: This is with the chat window expanded, now the MOTD is back to yellow: This has been happening since I did a reinstall a few weeks back. Since then, I've done a full system recovery (due to a nasty rootkit ) and reinstalled the game. I've run file verification, done the assets/cache delete file thing, even reset my UI to default and rebuilt it (UGH!) I'm sure I've missed something obvious, but I'd love to know what's causing this. It's not game breaking but it's driving me nuts! edit: Just realised I popped this in performance support, rather than general. Sorry!

Let me test this out and see if I can reproduce it. If I can I have a good idea about what is causing it. In a nutshell, only visible text is actually 'drawn'. The rest of the line, which includes the color code, is hidden and not displayed (even at the code level) so the color code cannot be applied.

I can't move your thread but I appreciate that and I don't have any problem with this thread being here.

That makes sense! Odd that it's only recently starting happening. I can't pin down when exactly though, sorry. I'll get my hubby to log into his account, on my pc, and see if it does it too. edit: Tested on my hubby's pc, with both accounts and the same thing is happening. At least it's consistent! I appreciate you taking a look at this, Joshua!

I'll keep everyone updates as much as I can.
