New player question : Can i roll a SK and still get into raids as DPS ?

<p>No, sorry; SK are tanks.  If you want to get into a raid as dps roll a beastlord, assassin, wizard, warlock, or conjurer.</p>

Edith is correct. This game is much different from WoW where a correctly specced Warrior can be viable DPSers, the tanks is this game are tanks. Some, like the SK can do decent DPS but they are no where near the dedicated DPS classes. If you want a melee DPS classes, beastlord, assassin, and swashbuckler are all very good DPSers. Ranged DPS has Ranger, Wizard, Warlock, Conjurer, and Necromancer. Each class has different flavor so make sure to play ones of interest to about 30-40 before deciding on it for sure.

<p>As DPS class, no, but some raidinis takes up to 4 tanks, so there is a chance in getting in at all ^^</p>
