Launch Pad woes after Jan 10th update [Archive]

Hello, When I launched the game after the update on the 10th January- for some reason when the game launched it started to use the streaming client.- even though I NEVER use the streaming client. This made it virtually impossible for me to log in, zone, and move around Norrath- the game was freezing every 10 seconds or so to try to download more assetts. I was geting the running dino icon and a tag next to it saying downloading assests so I knew that somehow the cleint had changed???? As far as I know I NEVER ever downloaded the streaming client and the version of the game I had (until I logged on yesterday) was the full client download version. I knew it would cause me problems due to having a slow connection and low bandwidth due to my location. Right now the game is unplayable and un-launchable. This is what I have tried so far to get back to a playable version of the gmae Uninstalled the LP and reinstalled the FULL DL version again and re run the patcher. I have also re validated all my files with the new full DL launcher and let it run the full patch cycle again. I have also uninstalled the launch pad (again) deleted my game folder and restored it from a backup I took on Dec 07 well over a month before this issue popped up. The launcher still "thinks" that my game is the streaming one and so I get an error message that the client cannot open the streaming assets database as it does not exist and that the client has crashed. It appears that the game is the FULL DL version but somehow the launchpad STILL sees it as the streaming one, even though this backup was made a month before this problem showed up and I have reinstalled the launcher. I hope there is a way to fix this without having to re download the entire 14 gigs or I will not be able to play for the next 3 months due to download and bandwidth limits on a slow connections in rural UK.
