<p>Hi all,</p><p>I moved my EQ2 dir to a newer, faster drive before the new expansion/launchpad. I hoped the new launchpad would fix the "checking" issue I've had since moving drives. What should take a few seconds if no updates are needed, it takes about 15 min of checking every file. I'm certain there is some type of CRC checking to ensure the files are legit, but why is it checking every single launch? <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>LaunchPad: 4.0.0.323</p><p>Shell: 4.0.0.323</p><p>Installer: 1.0.3.159</p><p>My OS is XP</p><p>Any suggestions?</p>
