Pet choice for leveling

<p>Hey all, I'm recently back to EQII after several years away. I'm looking to start leveling my 77 Necro again and am looking at a handful of unassigned AAs. Which gives me the option to either spec for my tank or my Mage for leveling. I've read some posts stating that the Mage pet is great for leveling, but I didn't know if that was just after a certain level or AA point. I'm seeking tonfind out which of the two pets would be a smoother more enjoyable way to level. I thank you in advance for your time and feedback!</p>

<p>Mage pet in defensive stance. Remember to get master pet asap, if not from broker, then research it to master. And Tainted Heals AA in necro tree.</p>

<p>The mage is best by far, though on nasty things you can't two shot tank pet will save you alot of headaches. (Some of the freak ^^^+'s)</p>
