Should I worry about this? (Bought several game cards, found out one had been scratched already)

<p>I bought several of the $10 Station Cash cards, and after I'd gotten home I found out one of the cards had been scratched off already.  I tried the code and it worked; I'm guessing because it wasn't activated until I bought it and of course they had no way of knowing when somebody would ever buy it.  They delibrately seem to have stuck it in the middle of the cards on the stand.</p><p>I'm going to keep the card as proof of ownership, but can anybody think of a reason this should worry me?  Should keeping the card and receipt be enough to prove it's mine if somebody else tries to claim the code as theirs?</p>

<p>send in a petition.  type what you typed here but include the code.  you can scan the card (and receipt, i suppose) as proof, that you are the one who purchased it and that should be more than sufficient should some criminal decide to call up and say "hey why isn't my code working?!"  i would expect that would give them the ban, instead of you.</p>

<p>I bought one for the triple SC sell myself for more slots in the future and when I got home and flipped it I noticed it was scratched off already mine worked as well, I thought nothing more of it. I've subbed to this game since '05 with a couple of scattered breaks, if someone does try some shenanigans and say that they bought the card and SOE contacts me that is simply what I will state, I don't save receipts. My guess is that 'speculators' did this in hopes of them being stocking stuffers and tried the codes one or more times per day, of course until activated they are worthless, any code that was attempted to be entered before the activation time stamp it should be obvious what happened if they try to make any such claims, I doubt you have any worries.</p>
