I returned from an extended absesnse to find that my character had been transfered from Lucan D`lere to Crushbone as part of the server mergers. Concerned, I went ahead and gave it a shot. All do respect to those who play on Crushbone but, I quickly found that Roleplaying servers simply have more social people. Maybe its because by joining a role playing server, you join a server focused around community, and communication IDK.I contacted Customer support who told me that it would be 25 dollars a character (So basically to return to EQ2, it would be my 15 a month, 25 for one char, 25 for another, 25 for a third, the two new expansions that have come out since ive come back...)

I submitted a complaint with the BBB on 12/12/2011 (No response yet)

I attempted to submit a ticket to get help with the issue. (A week has gone by with no response)

I will be pulling the plug on my account until some sort of resolution is made by EQ2 that helps both parties.SIDE NOTE: Why would you have a server type and merge it with another server type? Would you take Crushbone and Merge it into a PVP server? NO

The Crushbone/LDL server merger happened a long time ago.

There is no difference between an RP server and a regular server. They're both regular servers. The reason they wouldn't merge a regular server into a PVP server is because the game mechanic is different between the two.

Why are you complaining about having to pay for a transfer anyway? Some of us (including myself) paid for each of our toons to be transferred from a PvP server to a PvE server...why would you get special treatment just becuase you filed a silly complaint with the BBB?

...I also can't figure out if you are really complaining about having to be social with other people in an MMO...or if you're just trolling...

The reason I said Extended Absense, Is because it occured long ago.

2. There is a difference between the RP and Regular server, thats why they are formatted as such, people join the RP server because, they want to focus less on gamepplay, and more on social interaction. I will name an example:On Crushbone I asked: "Is there a way to clear my mail box? (After two years It had gotten quite full, and there is no delete all)" The multiple answers explained to me in now way how to do this but, informed me that I was a noob. (I know thats why I asked...)I ovbiously figured this out but, for giggles, I went ahead and asked on Antonica Bayle. I immediately got two people responding in tell, and three in the 1-9 chat.3. The reason they would not merge a regular server into a pvp server... Yeah I get that, same applys to the RP concept. Why have different server types if you dont care about the difference in the two? People join the RP for a reason.

You filed a complaint with the BBB? Wow...ummm...ok. You should probably file a class action law suit as well. Also, contact the Pope and see what he can get his people to do.

Complaining about having to pay for a transfer:Well yes, and no... Even If I wanted to pay for it, I simply cannot find a way to do it. (I assumed it was done through purchasing a ticket in game) I cannot find the mystery ticket.

2. You payed to transfer from a pvp to a pve server.... Yes but, you initially joined a PVP server, you were not on a PVE server that was merged into a PVP.

3. I am not looking for "Special Treatment", Theres a reason SOE is part of the BBB, because they want to opperate a better business... Merging a one server type into another server type (Even if there is no mechanical difference).. Is silly.(You wouldent merge a french server into an english server.... Even if they were both PVE)

4. Complaing about Socializing... Please re-read the initial post before attempting to flame.

Of all the things that SoE could have been referred to the BBB over, this isn't one of them.

Character Transfer token in the marketplace. It does have some minimum requirements. Look at the knowledgebase.

Silat

ppl are making fun of you bc you took it to the extreme with the BBB comment. its a laughable comment, actually. HOWEVER... there is a problem with the character transfer tokens. for most ppl, they dont show up. many believe that they will reappear on or around jan 6th when the new F2P model has been out a month. there's been much discussion on it, you can do a search on character transfer tokens for more details. if they dont reappear then for most of us, the EQ2 team will probably start looking into it. as it stands now, they arent doing anything abt it (at least they appear to be doing nothing).

They really need to reword this:

Account must be open, active and in good standing for a minimum of 60 days.

Your Game Pass has to be active for at least 31 days in a row.

It should reflect what is really required is a payment method on file that is"open, active, etc."

The way they word this is just not right and easily misunderstood and rubs some people the wrong way if they have an annual account that still has months to go.

Also, some people have had the free 45 days they got interfer with being "active".

You complaining to the BBB automatically gets no sympathy from me. That's an obnoxious thing to do.

Lucan closed down and the characters got transferred. That happens in even the best of MMORPGs; and it's happened to me in 4 games now. EQ1, EQ2, DCUO and WoW.

If you wanted to be on Antonia Bayle you could have went to Live Chat (which they definitely would have and could have helped you).

But instead, you wrote the BBB, when it was you that misread the text. This is the exact reason why it's so hard for us gamers to get answers. They're so afraid of rage from someone like you, that probabaly didn't do something right.

Please be a decent gamer and cancel your issue with the BBB. You were in the wrong here, not SOE.

Then go to Live Chat under support on Station.com and try to get this solved.

Kouza wrote:

I submitted a complaint with the BBB on 12/12/2011 (No response yet)

I attempted to submit a ticket to get help with the issue.
You have to admit...you deserved to be made fun of for posting that you complained to the Better Business Bureau about being transferred to a non-roleplaying server on a video game. That made you look quite lame.
