While I was grinding to get these, the question popped in my head as following. .

If you have a 'multiple' level adjustment for -1, then put a 'single' level adjustment for +1 on an enemy in the same room, do the effects counter each other out (leaving the enemy at level 50) or does the +1 adjustment override the -1 given to the rest of the room (Which means a level of 51)?

Normally the Increase will override the Decrease one, atleast from what I've seen.

I believe the tier up and down 1 level allows for some mini-solution to pathing and subsequent swarming issues in some dungeons ... it's much easier to battle 5 or 6 lower con mobs, than the same at even tier.

As for how the affect works .. from what i've seen while building is that any augment affects the current room only. Walk out the door and into another room, it's not there. But it does affect the entire room -- so mobs at one end of the room will get the same buff as others nearer the affect item.

They also allow more veratility in the way we build our dungeons. Now we don't need a boss token to make a 'boss' monster, though we could further strengthen the bosses if we chose to.

It's primarily for those who want to make a dungeon with an actual story/theme behind it rather than those who just want a huge farmfest.
