Gifting Down

<p>Server Antonia Bayle</p><p>I was going to make a gift of an item while it was on sale today.  I found the option to Gift an item is greyed out.  I logged in to multiple characters and even rebooted the game.  The same error is there.</p><p>Please fix gifting.</p>

<p>My friend just gifted something to another person. I don't think it is down, not for everone at least. However, the reason I am in this forum is to bring up an issue. Do you have a recurring credit card subscription that has been active more than a month? If not you can't gift, period as I understand it.</p><p>I have stocked up on enough SC during the triple promo to play for about a year. And as I am told, I could be wrong, I will never be able to gift. Though right now on one accuont I'm still at the end of my 1 year platinum sub I bought last year, which won't recur and I can't gift, how is that right?</p><p>I understand gifting is limited to protect people from getting ripped off, well, the more I think on that, I <em>don't</em> understand why gifting is such a privelage or how that is protecting anyone. Any gift means SC was purchased and it is + revenue for SOE. I can't even gift around to my own 3 accounts.</p><p>Please let everyone gift.</p>

<p>I do have a recurring credit card for my account.  It has been paying every month for quite some time.</p><p>When I moused over the Gift button (which was grey) it did flash a message saying I would not be able to gift since my account was new.  Despite the message, it simply just was not true.  My account is about five years old.</p>
