Can't Reset Zones

<p>For some reason on 1 of my 2 computers I can't reset zones that are resetable. I highlight the zone name, hit the reset button, the prompt comes up to confirm and I hit yes. Nothing changes.</p><p>Since it works fine on PC 2 I copied over my entire installation folder after deleting the one on PC 1. No fix.</p><p>So I decided to simply reinstall the game from scratch with the streaming client in a completely new directory. None of my old files were present, completely new installation. No fix. It's not the UI because I am using the Default UI, unless its the default UI itself that is broken.</p><p>The only thing I can possibly think of is there is a file that is causing this problem that isn't in my everquest II directory and persists with every different installation. right now my only option is to log on PC 2 just to reset my zones.</p>

<p>A similar problem I seem to be having is when I start research on a CA, it immediately says 'Complete' and allows me to hit the claim button, but like the zone reset button it does nothing.</p><p>I still can't even speculate what this problem is related to. The problem persists on this computer even when I do a completely new installation of EQ2 with no UI mods.</p><p>I'm wondering if the UI or everquest 2 in general accesses files outside the main EQ2 directory to manage things like this.</p>

My guess that it was something outside of eq2 installation was correct though.</p>
