<p>You do not need a developer to answer that question, I can do it for you.</p><p>There will not be a free character transfer token noted in these sale threads.  Something like that will come as a specific announcement on it's own.  As well, historically, they were not provided free for server merges, the last time I remembered any free transfers was years ago to decrease population, not to mollify players that had low activity servers merged.</p>

Just the EQ2 developers that are paid off our sub's seem to think they are only paid from SC.</p>

Even then, to fit in with the theme, it wouldnt only be a sale, maybe half off, but not completely free. As a matter of note, unlimited free transfers has only happened once, at the first server merge about 5 years ago or so. The last offering was limited to 6 characters per account, so it wasnt exactly the same. And again, I foresee sales on character slots maybe, but transfer tokens are highly doubtful, if only because of the account requirements to use them. It would be pointless to make them free for a day and still have a large part of the population who cant even use them. Better to just reroll a character on another server, takes about 8 hours to get to level 90, another 2 days to max AAs, and the whole thing can be done in less than a week even for a casual player. I enjoyed the chuckle though so keep it coming.
