IC Information:Greetings good, and errm not so good, people of Norrath! Please allow me to introduce myself; my name is Banedon Toran a resident of the Concordium Mage Tower in South Qeynos.I wish to speak to you today regarding our guild Elements. Naturally, as is often the case with guilds, we are looking for other brave and hardy souls to help us to bolster our ranks due to *cough* natural turnover and the need to expand our treasure seeking operations.We are looking for people of all walks of life, whether you be a trader, be proficient in the magical arts like myself, blessed with healing powers or skilled in the use of swords, daggers, bows, hand to hand combat, [snaps back to attention] ah! erm... it does not matter.Our Guild Hall is based in North Freeport for *ahhhh* certain minor *mumbles* legal and tax reasons, however we welcome citizens of any city and alternative access points are available on request.In return for your pledge of allegiance we would be willing to assist you whenever possible with any task or situation that you cannot conquer alone. Working together we can reach higher levels of achievement; you too could be as great as the heroes who attract the favour of our leaders. At the time of our last update we are/were guild level 54.We have no special roleplaying requirements or enforced theme, help and advice is always on offer but nobody at Elements will ever -tell- you how to play your character.At Elements we simply ask that you be interested in roleplaying, avoid using ooc language/actions in the guild hall, and keep OOC chatter (which is plentiful!) in our separate ooc guild chat channel /of (more usually referred to in other guilds as officer chat).We welcome fellow Norrathians of all races and classes, be you adventurer or tradeskiller. We encourage members to work together to achieve quest goals, have an army of avid crafters and would be interested in forming alliances with other roleplay guilds to facilitate raiding etc, however we -are- first and foremost a roleplay guild.MembershipFull membership is dependent on completing your In-Character joining of the guild (as there needs to be a reason why you suddenly turn up on the roster), this can be anything from building a complex story with one of our existing members, turning up to a tavern and allowing yourself to be arm twisted or just turning up at the guild hall waving one of the many recruitment flyers that Banedon sprinkles around like confetti (why do you think Qeynos citizenship ends in picking up litter on the highway!).All member characters are treated equally and individually regardless of whether the character is claimed as a 'Main' or 'Alt'. Free, Silver or Gold membership, all are welcome. Altaholics with split personalities are just as welcome as single characters.Membership is open to any character on the Antonia Bayle server. You can contact us in a number of ways:<ul><li>Post within our <a href="http://eq2.elements-guild.eu/forum/viewforum.php?f=38" target="_blank">Recruitment</a> forum including your character name and any questions (this requires registration and a valid email address).</li></ul><ul><li>Speak to a Guild Recruiter in-game by pressing 'U' and finding Elements in the list of guilds (left hand column), you can then click one of the green links to contact a recruiter of your choice (NB: Free/Silver players are unable to use this feature and should instead use /tell followed by the recruiters name).</li></ul><ul><li>Alternatively you can type /who all elements to list our members online and send a /tell to any of our friendly members.</li></ul>Events and LocationsElements members organise a number of roleplay events on a monthly basis we also often have ad-hoc events. The temple is a replica of one of the original Seven Wonders of the World known as the Temple of Artemis an ancient Greek wonder dedicated to Artemis the Hellenic a goddess of the hunt, daughter of Zeus and twin sister of Apollo.To visit, select Housing Leaderboard > Massive Homes > Temple of Halas</li></ul><ul><li>The Looking GlassWhat appears to be an ordinary cosy home, but be careful of the food!To visit, select Housing Leaderboard > Medium Homes > Looking Glass</li></ul><ul><li>The Guild HallOur Guild Hall is based in North Freeport, good or exile aligned characters should use the sewer entrance just south of the West Freeport gate in the Commonlands to sneak into Thieves Way then use the exit to North Freeport.We have full crafting facilities; every type of crafting station is available including all three types of Forge. General crafting amenities include a rush order agent, fuel merchant, recipe merchant, gatherer, hunter and miner hireling, we also have other common facilities such as banker, broker, mailbox, etcThe Guild Hall is also home to our Druid's Grotto, and our library of Norrathian books carefully preserved in our purpose built Athenaeum. Visitors are very welcome, however if you are planning to visit the hall please be mindful that we are a roleplay guild and roleplay often takes place within the Hall, nuisance visitors will be promptly ejected.</li></ul>Leadership StructureElements has four divisions or 'elements', which represent the four the main class types, currently each division has a leader and a Council Member acting as their deputy (some characters are currently 'missing in action' IC'ly while awaiting transfers from Freeport server).
