A member of my guild cannot assess guild vendors. Ones such as Groundskeeper, guild commodities exporter and the mender, this along with a couple of others.

The member himself has a gold non-recurring membership.

Is this problem a bug or is working as intended, I'm unsure whether to send a petition in?

Are they of sufficient guild rank to use them?

Yes they are, I've checked and double and even triiple checked everything. Booted them from the guild and invited them back. Promoted them also. Nothing seems to give them the ability to use the vendors. It is happening on all of the characters as well and not just one.

I petitioned it last night as something doesn't seem right with it and I can't think what else to do.

Via the guild hall door, check what level of access is required to use the amenties (click on the amenty name and I think it is in the bottom right of window), will be either Visitor, Friend or Trustee.

Next press U and check guild ranks, there are three lines that read similar to "Guild Hall Access Visitor", check the right options are ticked for your members. e.g. at Elements the bank would be set to Visitor and all guild member ranks are ticked for Visitor access, but the Harvesting Box is set to Friend and all except the lowest two ranks are ticked for Friend access.

Finally, again at the guild hall door, check the access tab to ensure individual toons haven't been given specific access levels.

If you've done all the above, I think petition is the only solution.

Yeps I did all that, however just to make sure for the fourth time I'll check again. Either way I've sent a petition off now, but thanks for the input, it seems its just my son having the problem since I think it would be something people would be up in arms about if it was a common problem

Well fancy that..... I mucked about with the guild door and I had to set him all te way up to trustee before he could use any of the facilities. It's odd because I thought by having a friend access it would be sufficient, especially since its usually only officers that have the trustee access. Oh well I seem to have managed to fix, so again thanks for giving me further ideas, just needed a bit of gnome tinkering

It's kinda Nonobvious but you can change the access level of some of the Amenities on the Amenities page. You don't get much feedback that you've changed anything when you change an amenity.

What Feldon said, the best way to fix it is to set the level required for the amenity less work in the future. except for the bank, harvest depot and harvesters really no risk in setting the aeminity to the lowest level, if your guild pays for repairs through the mender you would want to elevate the level to use him as well.

I leave the bank as visitor to be honest. The only things I set to friend and harvest box and harvesters and the flag. Apart from that I have never seen the need to restrict things in my own guild. I always enjoy welcoming visitors who come to speak to the grounds keeper anyways

To me though, if you have had to set them as trustees in the door itself (dangerous) it sounds like you have your guild ranks wrong so that people are not being set to the correct access when you promote them.
