<p>I noticed since the change in launchpads that I can only log into the game once with the authenticator active. After that, no matter how many times I choose to logout of the launcher, the game will successfully accept the password/six digit code and then summarily crash to desktop before the game loads the character selection screen. If I then uninstall/reinstall the launcher, I am able to log in one more time with authenticator. Note that I am not selecting the "remember me" button while this occurs.</p><p>As a solution, I have removed the authenticator from my account so that I can log into the game efficiently. However, I am reporting this issue, because I would like to use the authenticator to help keep my account more secure.</p><p>I'll also mention that World of Warcraft also uses the same company to provide the authentication system as EQ2 does, but Blizzard has added a handy "location aware" setting that allows players to have their computer remembered as a safe location. The end result is that one does not need to use the authenticator for every login on that safe location. It's a small, but appreciated "little thing", so if SOE is able to use that same service it would be great!</p><p>Let me know if you'd like me to troubleshoot this further for more detailed information and I'll set aside some time for it.</p>
