I'm getting stuck at "Waiting for zone server" when I try to zone into my Commonlands Guild Hall. This also happened to me in Enchanted Lands, and someone else confirmed it in their guild hall.

Edit: Seems to be that there's a bug with the zone servers, not just the guild halls, someone else was able to zone into a guild hall last night.

Every so often I'll be able to zone in to the zones I want to, then an hour later I'll be stuck at Waiting for Zone Server for minutes before being kicked back to the zone I was in before trying to zone in. This could indicate a problem with the servers, or SOE could be shutting off certain servers when there isn't any activity on the zones they handle. ( Since this is talking about Test Copy, most instances are like this at the moment. ) However if you try to zone in over and over I've been able to enter after about an hour.

I was able to zone into my Commonlands Guild Hall successfully twice, but Enchanted Lands is still getting me stuck.

I I get stuck zoning into guild hall (waiting for Zone Server) roughly one time out of ten.

I'm not finding this random game-freezing feature on a zone into T2 NFP GH to be all that game-enhancing.

Any chance this will be fixed before everyone disappears on holidays?

This has been a problem for me for the better part of the year. On Live, I have a T1 GH in Timorous. I've deleted and reinstalled many things. I still have this random problem of waiting on the zone server.

This game-freeze also randomly occurs when zoning from GH to player housing - it's likely becoming more visible due to the extra zoning caused by daily tradeskill apprentice quests when you have multiple trades researching.

I have narrowed down an issue that has started happeneing ever since AoD was launched. People are crashing when trying to enter guild halls. This appears to be a memory bug. The people that are having issues all appear to only have 2 gig of ram and it occurs when there are a lot of players in the zone with them. Basically it appears to be that the amount of item + the amount of people is causing a memory overload and crashing EQ. Please look into this.

I have 8 Gig of Ram so the previous posted comment about this only occurring when someone has only 2 gig of ram is incorrect. Also this is occurring when nobody is able to get into the zone, not when alot of players are in the zone with them.

I made a new thread with a more accurate name for the waiting for zone server issue.

Game freezing on a zone-in to GH or house is noticeable on Live, is it simply a volume issue because of all the extra zoning most players are doing since AoD?
