View Full Version : Freeport revamp - Missing Textures

<p>I haven't noticed anyone else posting about this... and I did try to search, with no results...</p><p>Since the Freeport revamp went live, I've been missing some textures in the game.  Most notably, the gate between the Commonlands and West Freeport no longer exists on the Commonlands side - there's just a big pool of nothing and floating graphics... for fun, I dove into it, and fell into nothingness.  I could see the Freeport city textures floating above me, but nothing where I was.  I also tried to exit from the West Freeport side to the Commonlands, and ended up in total blackness.</p><p>Also, there are textures missing from the Freeport 6 room house version 1.  On the first floor, in what I think was a little nook just right of the door entry (I don't recall what was there... and there's nothing there now haha).  Once again, a jump into the abyss just leads to reloading the house.</p><p>I've never had issues with this prior to the revamp.  Is anyone else experiencing this, or could someone shed some light on what is going on?</p><p>Thanks!</p>

<p>General suggestion: The Freeport revamp increased the size and number of textures your system has to handle. I noticed a similar problem with New Halas when it launched because the size and number of the textures pushed my laptop past some invisible threshold, and a few textures would not render correctly. Same thing with the Lavastorm revamp some time back, especially with deep shadows. You might try tweaking texture display settings a bit to see if the missing textures re-appear.</p>
