Hi, I just went to my local CVS and bout two 10 dollar sc cards-the first one went through fine, but the second one keeps giving me the message that the card is not valid. I have the receipt that says the card is activated, both of them, and the numbers on the receipt match those on the cards. I bought 35 dollars worth of cards earlier today, at the cvs by my job, and those went through ok. I sent a petition in, but havent heard anything back-i'm worried that i wont hear back from someone before the triple sc ends-any help is appreciated

I've petitioned and haven't heard anything back yet, is it because its the weekend? My sc card i bought finally went through this morning before work, but of course didnt triple because its past the "deadline". I'm hoping they can do something for me, i scanned my receipt and the backs of the cards i bought as proof that i did buy them last night, and as i said i used one of them and went through fine, but the other wouldnt work

I hope it works out for you. I think you have a good case if you sent the petition in during the triple cash sale, plus the receipt purchases etc.

Well this is how it turned out-

Greetings *****,The only thing we could have done was to attempt to add the card to your account using the same method you use as it would not have tripled had we manually added the card to your account. Beyond that, there wouldn't have been anything we could have done. The reference number for this ticket is *********. Please use this number if you need to refer back to this contact for any reason.

When i replied to this, saying that i was not satisfied with the answer, this was the response:

Greetings *******,It is not a policy or anything like that stopping us. Our billing system is not designed to allow for granting Station Cash. It is just not anything we have the ability to do. I wish there was something we could do for you. It just is not a situation we can correct. The reference number for this ticket is *****. Please use this number if you need to refer back to this contact for any reason. Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues and I will be happy to assist you. Give us a call at 858-537-0898 Monday through Friday, 10 am to 7 pm Pacific time.

Heres where i have to call foul-i am told there is no way they can credit sc to my account, and yet i read this on eq2's facebook status:

To our valued Steam customers: We sincerely apologize that Station Cash purchased via Steam during our Triple Station Cash promotion today was not properly credited. We are working with Steam and want to ensure those affected that we will automatically credit the additional Station Cash earned during today's promotion. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Customer Service via http://www.soe.com/en/support/. Thank you again for your patience and understanding. [RadarX]

Even though i had sent them a scanned copy of the backs of the cards, and the reciepts, i am out of luck, -and 2k sc. Yet the people on steam whos cards didnt triple , they are able to do something for? Let this be a lesson to buy cards and use the promotion at your own risk. If you buy a card, and the code doesnt work right away, you are s.o.l.. I will never buy another sc card again, and it will be a very long time before i buy any sc using my credit card, if ever.

At the suggestion of my guildmate, i called the acct/billing dept, and after being on hold for 37 minutes, then being on the phone with the support guy for another 18, they told me that they are going to go ahead and credit me the 2k sc. While i am greatful that they are resolving my issue, and the guy on the phone was helpful, I can't help but think it shouldnt have taken all this time and effort to remedy. Oh well, chalk it up to a learning experience i guess. I'm happy with the outcome, and one good thing that came from this: while i was on hold i made an apple pie, that i probably wouldnt have made time to do, so now not only am i getting credited the sc, but i get to eat apple pie while thinking about what im goin to spend it on
