server could not find your character

<p>Is the Bazaar server down?</p><p>I logged in just over an hour ago and downloaded a patch.  Got to the char select screen and selected a character like normal.  It brought up a window ( I don't recall the wording ) either connecting or waiting with a disconnect button.  I waited a few minutes and hit the disconnect button.  Restarted the game and now I only have 4 characters to choose from..had 13.  In red it says the Bazaar server is down and that goes away after a few seconds.  Select one of the 4 characters and instantly get a message "the server could not find your character, please exit and rerun the patcher"</p><p>I had the launcher check the files and it says all is good.  I do have 1 toon on another server and it logs in fine.  But it's going on 1 1/2 hours now and still can't log into the Bazaar.</p>

<p>Exact same thing here.</p><p>I've been trying repeatedly since about 7pm PST. I get to creating entities and it either crashes to desktop or I get to character select with 4 of 12 characters and the red text saying that the Bazaar server is down. When I move my cursor the red text goes away. When I try to play one of the 4 characters I get a popup saying that the server can't find my character, go rerun the patcher.</p><p>I got on fine several times earlier in the day. This evenings troubles are all after starting the launcher, patching some new files and attempting to log in.</p><p>I also did a thorough file check partway through all this.</p><p>Edit: you posted your edit as I was writing this - thanks!</p>

<p>It's been the same for me and most of my guildies for the last hour. Some of them are still able to zone, while others get kicked and have what has already been described happen.</p><p>"I used to play EQ2, but then I took an arrow to the knee.."</p><p>Guess I'll go play some Skyrim :-/</p>

<p>Saw the posts about database issues on Bazaar. Just checked, so as of 18:00 Eastern today, all characters visible in character select, and login of three randomly-chosen characters out of 11 showed no obvious problems.</p>
