Am doing the world event and trying to zone into Shard of Love: A Healing Touch. I keep getting a box that pops up that says:

EverquestII has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown. G:liveeq2gameClientsrcGameScene.cpp(528:

Failed to create zone.Suggestion: Please do a full scan from the patcher. 005078cb01081fec

I try to do a full scan and says game up to date.

My character is now stuck in a zone I cannot access...Please help!

References to Drive G: seem to keep popping up. Folks who actually have a Drive G: report solving the problem by disconnecting it (as it's usually a USB device or such). The specific problem with the Shard of Love is supposedly a known issue with a fix coming, but I have not seen official word on that.

Same pop up and CTD here. Character now stuck in a zone I can not access.

Was this live event EVER tested on the test server?

The G drive is server side. These are server commands that the client is sending over and it is failing to execute for one reason or another (in this case, its failing to create the zone). This could be caused by multiple issues such as the zone files being corrupt or if the zone is unavailable server side, among other causes as well.

While we look in to this, I suggest deleting your Everquest IICache folder. It may not resolve the issue but its the first step in troubleshooting that I can offer while we look in to it.

Deleting the Cache folder seems to have had no effect.

Thanks for letting me know, we're continuing to look in to it on our end.
