New Launcher?

<p>When i tried to play today, i logged on and hit the play button. Nothing happen. i waited 20minutes. eq2 still did not load. i tried again and again to the same result. the button says playing, but the program will not launch. I used the new launcher yesterday with no problems. anyone have any ideas?</p>

<p>It's called progress. Replace a system that was working perfectly well with one with more bugs in it than my bed.</p>

<p>I have found out that this play button problem is only occuring on one of my accounts the rest are fine.... this is my main account however, so this information does not make it any less stressfull, only more confusing</p>

As for the bugs in your bed, well...</p><p>cocoa1234: I need to confirm one point. Are you saying that the same Launchpad will launch the game when logged into one account but not the other?</p>

We're talking about a new patcher that wasn't properly tested and continues to throw up random sporadic glitches.</p>

<p>Therendil, you are correct. It works for one account but when i try to log onto my main account, i hit play, the nbutton says playing andd.... nothing happens. </p>

<p>hmm to evryone who posted, i just logged on on my main account and it worked... im not sure what the problem was but i think soe fixed it.</p>

<p>ok this launchpad is real bugy i have two accounts my secondar is the one that is affected not letting me box to explain  here i go . log first account in is ok then log second acount in and when i select a chariter it starts loading into the world then all of asuden it becomes unresponsive. no matter howmany times i try it. i hope this gets resolved sone of i just going to shut the second account off</p>

<p>We haven't had any issues running up to 12 clients on a single PC with a single installation on our new LaunchPad 4.  I'm not talking about the performance of the clients once the game is loaded, just the functionality of the LaunchPad to support multiboxing.  Separate installations or the same, it's preference at that point (and whether or not you want to maintain specific configuration files for each client)</p><p>If the LaunchPad throws up an error, report it to me, we can address it or explain why it occurred so you aren't stuck blaming a portion of the system that may or may not have anything to do with it.</p><p>As for the OP, go ahead and post your information as I don't have anything to work with yet.  Post your DXDIAG info (top 3 sections covering system/display/sound devices).  I'll probably ask more questions to get acquainted with your configuration but feel free to include anything you think relevant.</p>

<p>You know I wouldn't mind bugs with new this or that but I do think thats why they have a team to work them out BEFORE they pass it out to the PAYING public. Sure they can run 12 different games on their puters all probably are state of the art, not all of us have new puters. Fix the problem or start losing customers.</p>
