finding player guilds

<p>I'm an old player that is thinking about returning.</p><p>But I wanted to check up old guilds and friends first to see if they still exists.Wasn't there a way to do that before?  can't remember what it was called tho.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.eq2players.com," target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.eq2players.com,</a> but the player/guild search part is down at the moment while they work on a re-vamp.</p><p>Since EQ2 is now free to play you could always create a new account with the streaming client and get in-game fairly quickly, ideal for scouting around with the trusty old <em>/who all</em> command.</p>

<p>Thank you.</p><p>But I feel a bit backstabbed by soe with the 'press yes you unattune all your stuff' that popped up after one has logged in.It unattuned all my stuff alright, now I cannot equip it cause I need to pay for an upgrade first.And with no armor/weapons I cannot hunt for lower armor/weapon either.</p><p>Just a headsup for other returning players, don't press yes.</p>

They let you log in. <p>Theres also a guild button, and the forums. As well, you can probably get geared for some value of geared by asking to buy handcrafted of your level on the auction channel.</p><p>But yeah, if you are pay-as-you-go, gear is restricted. Pay the man with attunement tokens, pay the rent, or learn to live without it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>Finding old friends and guilds was as easy as mention above.</p><p>I logged in, and apparently I'm still a member of the guild and it is still active <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" />The next few days will be less killing and a lot of catching up and reconnecting with friends.Now I just need to remember who is who behind all the chars <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" /></p><p>Gonna cough up dough for a holiday game atleast, jolly cheer to ya all.</p><p>Next project will be finding info on how to spec all my AA points for a Dirge and Necro (to start with, being a altoholic is hard work <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )</p>
