Launcher Issues...

<p>Ok so the new launcher updated fine when you guys released it. This morning I logged on and the SOE splash window had some updates. As soon as they finished, it loaded what i assume is an old launcher. Its looks like a watch and has v1.75 on it. So i used the link i found here to reinstall the new one, taking care to select the correct folder. Installation completes and SOE splash window comes up, does some loading and launched the v1.75 again. Any clue what the problem is? Like i said the new launcher had been working fine since release but the update today messed something up.</p>

Like i said the new launcher had been working fine since release but the update today messed something up.</p></blockquote><p>The method you use to launch the game is trying to run the EQ2.exe file.  This is an old abandoned executable.  Delete it and never run it again <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>The game itself should be fine.  Just re-download our Full Assets LaunchPad and re-install it over the same EQII folder.  update your shortcuts to point at LaunchPad.exe, not EQ2.exe.  If you ever want to bypass the LaunchPad (and are already fully patched) you can use the Everquest2.exe file instead.</p>

<p>i tried running launchpad.exe and its still loading v1.75.  Weird part is ive never seen this launcher before. I was using the old one before the new one launched.   I know im pointing the update to the correct folder becuase i see my characters in the log folder and my custom UI folder is correct.</p><p> edit i just tired reinstalling the launcher for the fourth time and now im getting an NSIS error, Istaller Integrity check failed....</p>
