Last night I clicked on this Chronomage, I thought I was buying rep or something. When my lvl went from 36 to 5 I freaked...I had no idea what I had done. I was panick stricken, luckily my friend looked it up and got me to type in unmentor to return me to my proper lvl. I now think I know what this is for, but will let someone with experience elaberate.

This allows you to mentor down levels mainly to do old questlines that might have been missed or do whatever is needed at a lower level. This is a very handy tool that I have used many times. You can also right click on your name on your UI and unmentor.

Alternatively, if you are grouped with a lower-level person, you can right click on their name in the group window and choose the "Mentor" option there as well. It will put you at their level so you can both play together in zones that you might have otherwise outgrown, allowing you to gain experience there and giving them a little assistance.

They offer quests to go to zones and you get rewards from the merchant there. You can only see those rewards if you have the tokens / level to use though.

Yes, back in the old days, if you wanted to do old quests at a lower level, you had to either bite the bullet and take the exp and/or AA hit or run around looking for a player to mentor.

Now you have 3 people.

One gives daily missions I believe for those over 50. When completed you can buy a plushie attached to that zone for 1plat something.

The third guy will, for 100 status and 5 gold, mentor you to a lower level from 5 through 85. I believe it starts at level 20 you can start chronomentoring.

But maybe because I was so panicked. I suppose this option is also useful for farming items to transmute? Is there a limit to the number of times you can visit a particular lvl?
