Bags overflowing but almost empty inventory slots?

<p>Hi, my fiancé and I just started new characters and ah is trying to do the harvesting tutorial quest.  However, anytime she tries to pick anything up she gets a message saying her inventory is overflowing.   But right now she has at least eight open bag slots.  Can anyone give us any idea what to do to fix this?   She's tried logging out and back but it hasn't done anything to help.  </p>

<p>First, are there bags in the bag slots? It's a silly thing, but people have been known to forget. Second, is there an overflow slot visible in your character window? Sometimes items end up in overflow because of something in the game even if you had space in inventory (eg. if the GMs game you back an item, or if items were unattuned), and until you clear the overflow and put it back in inventory it messes things up.</p>

<p>If there is anything in the overflow slot, you'll get that message until you take the item(s) out, even if there are empty bag slots. You can get an item in the overflow slot if you do something like accept a quest reward when you have no free slots. Look in the lower left corner of your picture in the Persona window, just above food and drink. If there is an item icon visible, double-click on it to pop it into regular inventory. <p>You guys covered the ideas I had about what the problem might be.  If none of this explains it I do recommend opening a petition for GM support so they can look in to it for you.</p>
