Server: Butcherblock

Dungeon Name: "Roogna: The Forgotten Hold" (CD: 5,200)

Category: Crushbone

I tried my best to render each room a different enviorment and completely hide the main structure of the Crushbone theme.

Utilizing the in dungeon / player made furniture (around 800 items), usable items (doors/books), and so on I managed to throw together this dungeon. Furniture objects are used to hinder and assist player movement. I've included some story elements in the books as well as npc conversations (if they willingly say them). The dungeon pace is constant, mobs in virtually every room (some within their own compartments in a room). They agro within reason, when pulled they come in usually groups of 2-3.

Gripes: Avatars do not activate Magic Mouth items

Avatars do not cause usable items to glow when cursor is hovered over (Doors / Books)

Dying in a far away room and spawning back at the entrence, furniture takes a while to load

Pics

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner !!

I love that idea that you can add just about any house/guild droppable item ingame, into a DM dungeon. I can not wait to see what the next 6 months brings us.

"Avatars do not cause usable items to glow when cursor is hovered over (Doors / Books)"

On this one, this is a bigger problem beyond the dungeon maker. I noticed this to be true in player housing as well. In particular, my character has a playable drum and harp that used to glow that no longer does. Maybe an unexpected glitch caused by the house edit feature? I bugged it, so hopefully they will get enough reports to put this on their radar.

Without "hot spots" in a place filled with lots of items, it would be nearly impossible to find these items unless you happen to be obsessive with lots of free time to spare to stand in one spot and test click everything.

Also that's sad news the magic mouths don't work. I know there will be at least two types of players - the no-nonsense let me kill and get the dungeon marks type and the tell me a fun and interesting story type. I fit in the latter, so I'm in support of anything that will help set a mood and tell a story.

How did you get all the natural stone work for the mushroom cave? I would love to know how to make natural caves.

Beautifully decorated, great story and good mob placement. The dungeon was much fun to run through... both solo and in a group.

The stonework you refer to is "rough/crude stone tables and benches". They can be made by any carpenter that has the recipe. Hop on the Homeshow Chat channel and ask if someone would make one for you. Easy Peasy.

The problem with using this particular item(s) is that you cannot stand directly on them. There is a space between your feet and the stone. One would have to be mindful, when creating a cavernous area, that there is enough head room . Tight areas would not work well.
