Im finding it extremly frustrating trying to do most 90 content because my pet is always dead from AoEs. Putting such an important and needed mechanic like pet AoE blocker on a weapon that nobody knows how to get is really rediculous. and why is it needed to have a long cast time as well as a long cooldown on warders? is it not bad enough they die easily but now i have to wait 20-30 seconds to recast the thing during which time i can pretty much do nothing.

Welcome to the screw up of making mythicals a necessary part of group play in TSO.

How do you think it was for all the 24 other classes when epics and myths were first brought into the game?

Maybe the quest giver at level 30 in bbm is a hint?

The class isnt a week old lol look what happens when u race to 90

what does racing matter? you sorta have to be 90 to find the quest regardless so if i wasnt 90 i wouldnt need a quest that nobody knows about.

Because getting 90 takes so long and so much effort.

The only toons I did epic repercussions on at 90 were the ones that already had their mythicals the rest were between 85 and 89 out of about 8 level 90s.

By racing to 90 maybe you missed pre-requisites to being able to even see the starter. Just a suggestion. Check up on the lore. There was a lot of things ppl tried in beta but i was there only for a day before forums were takin down and didnt think to copy the info.

Dont get me wrong I want to know too as I have no clue where it may even start. But if the info aint around when i get to 90 i will do my part in looking for clues.

The NPC that gives the level 30 beastlord quest looks like an NPC from Kerra Ilse in SF is this right? If its not then maybe its still a place to look. All info i remember reading were people refering to the old epics that started in RoK maybe this one will be different.

all i know is that they said its level 90, its very difficult to get, and its an amazing weapon. those are things that were said in one of the webcasts. and since noneo f the RoK or SF content is difficult. im guessing its gotta be DoVive also gone and knocked out all the quests in Sundered frontier and stonebrunt, and started knocking out the ones in Great Divide. i havent seen any npcs out of the ordinary so it could be a item drop to start like the dirge one.

As for pet dying easily , they had to give BLs SOME disadvantage , they're way more powerful than other pet classes as it is

I haven't seen how they do at high levels yet, since the class is so new, but as for soloing, necromancers just own beastlords as far as I have seen. Beastlords are respectable soloers to be sure, but they lack the infinite power, feign death, control effects, and massive heal on a 4-sec recast that allow necros to solo heroic and epic named for fun in outleveled armor.

Well the class will be seriously nerfed if they have made the mythical any amount better then any other class'.

Did they hint that the starter was to be hard or just the rest of the quest?

I remember when the other class epics came out. I was actually one of the first gamewide to get my brigand's epic quest complete (the fabled version). Me and a guy on another server (the name Patches comes to mind, but I forget) were both kind of helping each other through it all. I had a raid to get to and he got his epic while my guild went off raiding or I might have had the worldwide first... anyway I guess that's not the point.

The point is that it took 24 hours with hundres of people looking and contributing to the search to get our epics in RoK time. There's only a handful of level 90 beastlords and it's no surprise to me that the questline is proving difficult.

BTW... I definately don't necessarily think the quest starter has to be something from a high level area. The RoK epics had starters everywhere from deep in RoK dungeons to being on trash mobs in Darklight Wood.

I am hoping they did not make it a level 90 quest and weapon but kept it in line with the other level 80 rok questlines. After all, at some point like now people are going to want to run BL with others in a guild group to get those quests done. If the other 24 classes dont share common updates it may add unnecessary headache to getting the updates.

From what I hear it is a level 90 BIS weapon.... though I haven't actually seen that from a Dev or anything so it could be way off base.

If what some of ye are suggesting is true then they have made a pretty big mistake since it will alienate Beastlords if they cannot get their epics at 80 like everyone else.
