my T2 bst has had double digit resists which makes mobs hit harder with non-physical attacks.

Arcane has currently gone up to 200s. I don't know how as none of my MC armor has resists, nor does the jewelry.

Nox is 77, elem 34.

I get hit by an exq chest trap for 1274 when my health is 1285!

I don't recall having this much trouble with resists on other characters this low.

Here's a bug report I just submitted:

I have leveled my new beastlord to 20 and so far from treasured to T2 MC blackened iron, and legendary jewelry drops (none of these have resists on them), I have yet to get out of double digit resists on noxious and elemental. The only reason my arcane is buffed to 330 is because I am running around with a templar merc. Otherwise it would be down in the double digits as well.Arcane: 330Noxious: 90Elemental: 40I am using the most recent updated DrumsUI.I was just hit by Lord Ak`Tarnis for 1190 Life Tap disease damage, and my health is only 1510. When I open exquisite chests, the deadly traps are like back when EQ II launched, taking 95% of my health off.

I just compared a level 10 I have that has just the dropped/quested treasured gear you get at that level. He has his cleric self buff giving 136 to all resists so 141-136 arcane = 5 arcane 151-136 nox = 15 noxious 156-136 elemental = 20 elemental

You can get resists from racial traits too. Super low level gear won't have resists on it. Not sure about the crafted stuff but I can check my jeweler. There were(and still are for some reason) seperate recipes for resist jewelry in later teirs(I remember seeing them in the 60s for example).

My rule is to never open chests with low HP. I've been killed by them in the past. Beastlords cannot disarm either unless you have a racial for it.

Fashioned Coral Earring has no resists on it(level 12 MC). Neither does any of the other Coral Jewelry, even the Elemental pieces.(o.O)

Also remember you have elemental resists as a choice during certain points of character development. As a side note, my level 12 beastlord right now(Kerra) has 0 arcane, 24 nox and 18 elemental resist with no gear on that gives resistances.

Like I said I never remembered being hit for 90%+ of my health on any other characters. There aren't very many choices to select up to T2 for the character resists anyway. My first one if I remember was a stat buff, not a resist buff.

I do by heroic mobs if I managed to pull aggro(couldn't solo back in those days in places like Fallen Gate).

Your first resist choice is at 15, and you can choose racial resists before that.

Metal chests killed me sooooo many times...

Well all I could choose was the 15 resists plus racial arcane or physical. The level 15 choice only gives +60 and I chose noxious.

Going over the broker I found out why scouts in general would take more damage: Every single item I could find from 10-20 that was treasured (since there are absolutely none better since fabled gear is old gear with single digit resists or the common crap drops without any tier label are g!mp on stats; can you believe that word is censored?! OMG is this my little pony forum boards or what?) with good resists is either INT/WIS/STR oriented so if you are a scout at these levels and want to avoid getting one shot by caster mobs/chests your are S.O.L.

You won't get one shot by chests if you wait till your hp is full before opening it.
