Anyone else having this problem? I'm trying to figure out what causes it , or when it happens. But for now it seems to be completely random.

All my hotbars and locked, and you cannot drag any icons from any of my bars.

Mainly, My Aery Hunter V keeps getting replaced by Earthen Avatar IV (the lvl 38 earth pet).

Periodically some of my other pet spells will get changed to some other pet as well. So far it seems like only the Aery Hunter V, and Hydromancer get replaced.

.... getting kind of tired of finding new bugs with my class every day.

I have not seen this problem, however I have all my pet spells set up as macros that call the pet, then cast the pet's stance.

I don't get it = nothing but more and more bugs every day since expansion.

Also noticing some AA's that enhance pets in various ways aren't showing up, and some are showing up double (in the green writing when examining a spell)

I can confirm i have the same issue with my conjuror and i can say it's quite a surprise to summon an earthen avatar level 22 and send it to fight against a level 85 mob...

It's completely random and started to occur only when i had the strange idea to right click on the spell itself in the spell window.

This is broken and require some fixing. In the meantime i suggest using macro

I dont get why this still happens?

Also, it happens to me randomly without right clicking my hot bar at all. I would I could re-create it and determain exactly what is causing it, but as far as I can tell it seems completely random.

There's been a few times i've gone afk, come back and they're changed.

Sometimes switching from windowed to full screen and visa versa will cause it to change as well.

Die, zone, log in, level up...it's resetting my pets on the hot bar. I keep getting the beastlord examine pop up for them when I try to right click to examine which dang pet is ended up on my hotbars for my necro. I don't think that our pets are supposed to be using the beastlord warder selection. My little 48 necro has all of her pets to select from on that thing.

Yep, im still getting this bug all the time.

Its awesome when your in a raid, your pet dies, you go to resummon and its a completely different pet/level. Level 23 tank pet summons where my highest mage pet used to be.

This is getting very frustrating. Please fix this!

edit: I'm also getting the pet selection thing when right clicking on spells in the hotbar. But not just pet spells, i'm getting this pop up when trying to right click and examine certain things, like stuff in my bags. =

Just make pet macros, then you can free up room for other spells on your hotbars

With mah macros, ah have /petname, then the spell, then /shrink (mah gnecro doesn't like looking at the empty pelvis' of her undead pets )

Its a new feature with AOD, you can right-click on any pet spell and get a pop up that will allow you to change which one you summon. Now you don't need 3 hotkeys anymore, just one for all 3 pets. Or in the case of a BL, one for all 16 pets.

Will have to check that out, but have always used the macros (because ah have named all mah pets, even if the name no longer fits with the new type of pet) and don't believe the pet spell has ever been on mah hotbars

I've noticed the same happening to BL pet icons: some of those keep randomly changing.

Maybe I've accidentally right-clicked them without noticing, but it does seem to happen too often for that...

My Conj pet spells are still changing randomly. And No, its not because im right clicking, because they change even when I haven't right clicked anything for hours. I am also getting this window pop up when I right click things that aren't my pet spells. It is completely random it seems. Sometimes right clicking things to examine in my bags brings up that pet spell window instead of the context menu. Very annoying!!!

I shouldn't have to create a macro as some sort of solution to stop this problem, SOE should just fix it! Plain and simple. To many times do people find their own work arounds for SOE's bugs they create, then they never fix it because they assume its fine.

Also, how is a macro going to stop the window from popping up when I right click other things (as described above).

*NEW EXAMPLE* I logged my conjuror out, my pet spells were fine. I log him in about 2 hours later, and before I even touch anything in the game, first thing I notice is my mage pet spell icon is no longer the mage pet. Its the mid 30's earth pet spell. Then I check my Earth pet icon, and its actually been changed to the lvl 1 earth pet. what... the... you know what.

Some Conj/Necro's on forums claim they dont have this problem, but all the ones I talk to on Freeport server that I know, have this same issue. This didnt happen until AoD and needs to be fixed. How can it be that hard? I understand the right click-pet selection window. But I don't understand the automatic random pet swapping spells on its own. It just baffles me.

Problem with Freeport server? Not saying Freeport is a problem, just there seems to be a lot of problems with/on that server since AOD

I wish I knew what was causing this. I don't beleive its something on my end though. I use 100% the original UI. I've tried reinstalling my entire game and still get this issue on both PC's. I've also completely reinstalled windows, and then EQ2 on one computer and still get this issue.

So I really don't know =

The thing I said above, is the main reason I beleive it to be a problem with the game in general. (or as you may say, just the Freeport server)

Ok, here's an update...

So I finally got sick of this bug and went ahead and made Macros for ALL my pets and placed the Macros on my hotbar where my pet icons were. Hovering the mouse over all of them, Yes, I made sure they are all Macros now.

Guess what?!

I still mysteriously get my Macros switched out with lower level pet spells!!!!! What in the world is going on?!

So sometimes when I log in, or zone, or minimize, maximize, click npc's, accept quests, or do many other various things throughout the game, my spells still magically change themselves on my hotbar and I have to go back and drag my macro's into the proper place again.

By the way, my pet spells are on my 5th hotbar. I've tried moving them around, I get the same random changing result.
