Powershift in best solo classes with AoD

<p>The best solo classes for heroic content has been crusaders, brawlers, melee priests, summoners, and now most likely beastlords as well, unless I'm forgetting someone. With the release of AoD, will this change? The reason I'm wondering this is because of the introduction of mercs. While being accompanied by a merc might not count as true soloing, it's still soloing in the sense of being the only player. So what I'm curious about is, will there be a powershift in the best solo classes while having a merc by your side; and if so, which classes now find themselves at the top? Which class is now capable of soloing the hardest content possible as a solo player with a merc by their side; and which merc would it take with it?</p>

<p>Good question.</p><p>So far people have been saying BLs are not the soloers as they were in EQ1.</p><p>I feel, even with Mercs, Necros and SKs prolly will still be up there, but I think it will give other classes like Guardians and Zerks a chance to survive longer.</p>

<p>Top solo class in the game.. Inq.  Only class that has 65% mit (can take hits very well), top notch heals, and great dps.</p>

<p>Yes well the question was if this changes now that we have mercs. I'm thinking i.e. swashie with a healer merc might do better than an inquisitor/warden with a DPS merc. Just an example, but this is what I'm curious about.</p>

<p>I only need a merc for 2 fights really - I used the guardian in SOH</p><p>Other than that I'm yet to find much I can't solo</p><p>Not tried mercs on my other toons</p>

Crusader HPS is simply abyssal now. The best soloer is probably the inquisitor and the warden is coming after.</p><p>Pet classes may also do well ....</p>
