Now however, (since the hotfix,) I get the same issue for both EU and US versions. <p>I'm getting the same error. I just purchased the new expansion also. This is terrible! I want to play the beastlord! <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /> Any thoughts or ideas as to how to fix this would be fantastic and much appreciated.</p><p>EDIT: I found this on an older post in the Connection Help Forum</p><p>"<span ><p>Found the problem.</p><p>I disabled  Kaspersky's  Anti-Banner feature in order for the download to complete."</p><p>Just for giggles I disblled my Anti-Banner feature in Kaspersky. The launcher appears to be working now. At least it hasn't crapped out almost immediately like it was going before I disabled Anti Banner.</p></span></p>

<p>Hi i can't get the launccher to update keep getting error within checkupdateneeded it comes up afew times i keep clicking ok then the launcher comes up dose it's scan downloads something then says ready click it game starts to load up ok then says client version don't match need to update so it never updates at all.
