I have a beastlord camped in TD. When I attempt to play that character the loading screen gets to a point called "Updating Environment Map" and then the client hangs. No error or anything it just hangs for a long time with a "Not Responding" message in the title bar.

My other characters load fine.

I'm having this issue too on a beastlord in TD. Will I have to go through this process or can I just do something else while you guys fix it on your end?

Just to let you know this did not fix the issue for me. I deleted everything as you directed above and it reinstalled, but still hanging on zone into TD. It appears to be hit or miss if you'll zone through properly. But more often than not, I'm forced to x out of the game, after sitting there for 10 minutes and no zoning.

Also this has nothing to do with a Beastlord, it's all my toons in TD -- which is unfortunate because my guild hall is there. And it keeps hanging on "Updating Environment Map". Little frustrating having to x out of the program every time I zone and keep trying over and over until I finally am able to access my toons.

This just started happening to me today as well with my beastlord in Mok Rent. Was playing fine last night and now it just hangs at 'updating environment map' and the game stops responding. Tried the steps mentioned above, but no luck either.

In the meantime, if you are camped out in Mok Rent and cant get back in make sure to open a petition for GM support to have you moved out.

Any indication of when this will be fixed? With a guild hall in TD, this is becoming more than just an aggravation and is completely borking me being able to play. I love this game, but having to reboot 10 or 15 times each time I want to play is beyond frustrating.

Having a GM move me from a zone I need to complete for questing isn't the greatest solution. It leaves me hanging ... literally.

The Tech Support department wouldn't be the ones doing the fixing so we might find out at the same time you do, via the patch notes.

Tried the fix, no luck.. can zone into any other zone no issues.

It's making the Resupplying task for the festival unuseable as pretty much every time, the client freezes.

Hopefully the fix will be along soon, probably just after the city festival ends I guess.

Same problem here.

I have been running my Bl through the TD quests and just arrived in Mok Rent at the griffon platform when the client crashed on me. Now everytime i log in it hangs on the Loading environment map. I am currently working my way through the steps listed by TSR - JoshuaM but no luck so far.

Edited to add after deleting the paks i was able to repatch them and log back in. Everything seems ok so far.

We do have known issues with the TD areas, specifically Mok Rent, that can cause this type of behavior. We do ask that you avoid camping out near there for the time being while we work on the issue. Keep an eye on patch notes or community announcements for more information when its ready to be announced.
