<p>I crashed to the desktop in Timorous Deep, I was able to reload the game...however, everytime I get to Updating the enviroment the client stops responding and I have to end the task. This is the first time this has happened today.</p>

The LaunchPad will re-download them the next time you launch it.</p>

<p>ok.</p><p>Edit: I only found 2 references to Timorous Deep in the files, deleted both and repatched....still doing it.</p><p>Edit 2: ok, so I found 3 references, deleted all 3. Will attempt to repatch now.</p><p>Edit 3: Ok, its good now.</p>

<p>I am now again having the same issue, except this time I've deleted the TD files 3 times, and it is still doing it. If the files for TD are so problematic, why don't they fix the problem? This is starting to get incredibly frustrating, and irritating. I almost want to leave the zone early to avoid stupid problems that shouldn't STILL be a problem.</p>

<p>Before switching to LP4 the computer I am currently on worked fine. Now with LP4 and F2P/GU62/AoD it doesn't matter what character I load or where they are at I will crash to desktop in 5 minutes or less.</p><p>My other computer (with the same set up) works just fine. I have reinstalled the game an I still crash to desktop because EQ2 has encountered an error (I hate that generic message box).</p><p>Anyone else having a general crash to desktop issue?</p>

If it seems like it has gone away, open a support ticket and include your DXDIAG/MSINFO files so that we can track this and get it resolved asap.</p>

<p>I have this exact same issue - identical alertlog, just different zone & performance setting. It only started occuring since this expansion release (yesterday). My install of windows is about 2 weeks old and all drivers are up to date. I am using older game files so I didn't have to redownload. Crash would occur about every 5 minutes.</p><p>I just disabled shader 3.0 and loaded back in. It's been going fine for a few minutes, lets see what happens.</p>

Include your dxdiag/msinfo and a description of the problem (as I may not get to it first).</p>

<p>yeah, shader 3 seemed to be the issue. I brought up a 2nd account now. Seems to be functioning properly now.</p>

<p>I too was having the crash to desktop with the same contents of the alertlog.txt file. Since turning off Shader 3.0 everything seems fine.</p>
