As the post says - I am a recurring monthly subscriber and did not log in to haveing any station cash awarded - my subscription ironically conducted its transaction on patch day - so that may be the reason why and therefore I may not be entitled to such, but however if I am entitled I would most surely like the award! Thanks for your assistance in advance!

awesome thank you Mr Joshua!

Is this only for those with monthly renewals or will it apply to those auto renews of 3 months, 6 months and 12 months? And for those on multi-month auto-renews, will they only get it on the date the renew? I'm on a one year auto renew which was just repurchased in November. If it is only for monthly auto-renewals, that would be unfair to have to wait a year just to switch back to a monthly auto-renewal.

Calamoor...

So I'm not sure I understand this. I buy a year at a time, does this mean I don't get the 500 SC a month? I'm listed as recurring but my renewal date is not for a few months. Will I get the 500 SC, and if so, when, because it definitely is not there as of yet

I would guess it will happen on the same day of the month as your annual sub falls on.

i.e. If your annual sub is August 18 every year, you will probably get your 500 SC every month on the 18th.... as long as it is a recurring sub.

All Access grants access to all games while an EQII specific membership grants you 500SC monthly. All Access is a recurring subscription plan that grants you 30 days of membership/subscription access to the games under your account each time it cycles. It does not grant you a recurring gold membership which is what the 500SC monthly is attached to.

The reason you don't get both promotions is because we are not extending both of them to you.
Shame there is no method in place to allow me to cancel my all access and turn my left over time into a regular plan which is all I really want. I tried to 3 weeks after I bought it, but it was too late. Tis ok, lesson learn, don't buy multi-plans. Doing all access was the silliest eq2 thing I'd done to date.

If you got it before it became All Access you do get to maintain those grandfathered Station Access slots. As it stands now All Access is best for people who play multiple games while the game specific membership usually come with extras for just that game.

I find it odd that no communication about this during the campaign about the gold membership and 500SC info. People on Station All Access had a subscription for EQ1, EQ2, Freerealms too among other games, and paying a subscription meant being transformed into gold membership... there was no "special case" of the All Access persons in those statements. Some of us are on a YEARLY plan and have paid for a full year of membership (recuring year...) and we were not informed beforehand that those changes would not allow us to have the 500SC.... this should have been said during or before the switch to F2P so people could choose their subscribtion plan "all-knowingly" (this word exists? ) as a matter of fact, Station Cash is used for three SOE games (EQ1,EQ2 and Freerealms) on which the All Access does apply... I can understand that items for EQ2 specifically would not be included in the plan, but Station Cash is used in several games... which also means we could be interested in buying station cash items for not one ... but up to three games... and still, we don't get those 500SC ? that's odd, no?

All Access, ya know, that thing I pay MORE for per month (and don't even want as I got it soley to play on FP as a gold member which a month later was made irrelevant with the move to F2P) does not net me this bonus? I'd be happy to downgrade but since I paid the year I can't. (or lose 10 more months) Why are we not eligible for this promotion? I am not going to get overly upset about it, but I am a bit disapointed.

Okay so there was some confusion at first as Station Access subscribers (not all) did receive the 500SC entitlement.

Here's the update for today.

Station Access/All Access Game Pass subscribers will not be receiving the 500SC promotion moving forward, much like yearly Station Access/All Access game pass subscribers didn't receive the annual EQII subscription rewards.

There are multiple promotions available, you need to pick which one you want to participate in.

One or the other in this case.

To discuss any account action you will need to contact our staff directly.

That's a load of crap...

So, I'm not a "Gold" EQ2 member anymore?

I've had a regular EQ2 subscription that I converted to yearly All Access once the new pricing became available so that I could play around some in EQ1 whenever the mood hit me. I already had a lifetime subscription to Free Realms and don't play any of the other games. When EQ2 was converted to F2P, my character profile showed that I now have Gold status. I also got the 500SC this month.

So if I have Gold status for EQ2 and my subscription of whatever it may be is recurring, then why would I suddenly not be getting the monthly SC? The all access pass is already more expensive than the regular EQ2 subscriptions, and that would account for the multiple games, but now our all access EQ2 subscriptions are somehow less because it became F2P and we are paying more? That doesn't make any sense!

This whole thing seems a bit deceptive. What is the benefit of having all access again? Now I'm kind of irked because I have a few more months left on this all access "deal" and can't switch it over to the full EQ2 subscription that I used to have before the game went F2P and downgraded us all to gold.

Well except I'm somehow not gold anymore, I guess. I wonder if next month I'll log in and won't be able to equip any items because they randomly decided that only "real" (i.e. non-access) gold members have that too.

This is a terrible decision, imo. I was planning on buying a year of all access since I am currently enjoying DCUO and want to be able to play EQ2 on occasion, but I was really looking forward to the SC....

I know because that was the only reason I posted in that thread at all and I was one of the people asking. I only stopped posting when a third party informed me that they had spoken to a CSR and were given the impression that that was indeed the case. Aside from the fact that the CSR likely really didn't know the correct answer, the person who told me that might have been talking out of their ***, and that I should have called myself; If you guys can't understand why people would have easily gotten the impression that SJ basically confirmed that Access = Gold and that recurring subs get SC so Access should have SC I don't know what else to say.

This is really ridiculous. I'm not crying scam or anything like that. I'll just let my Access sub laps and decide then whether or not to roll that account over to Gold, but you people really need to get your act together when it comes to communicating with the player base. It's idiotic mistakes like this; unclear communication and half formed dissemination of information, that make your costumers lose faith and become former customers. When you compound it by basically telling the people who's chains you just jerked, 'tough luck, no help for ya' it doesn't help at all.

So... I log in to my account, cancel my All Access.. and now there is no way for me to sub to JUST Everquest 2. I don't get an option to "change plan" AT ALL except to renew all access.

God, why the hell do you people continually make this so hard..

I just mentioned this on a thread in another post, but it seems like good info to mention here too.

1 year All-Access = $180 no monthly 'allowance' or other perks besides game access.

1 year EQ2 gold = $120 + 500 SC a month + 3 pretty nice in-game items.

At full value 500 SC monthly = $60. So $120 minus $60 = $60.... 1/3 the price of All-Access

At half price, 500 SC monthly = $30 $120 minus $30 = $90... 1/2 the price of All-Access.

Plus a Mount, Appearance Armor set, and a Cloak (with growth on it).

This makes all-access looks like a horrible deal. You can only play one game at a time anyway.

Just wanted to leave a note that I was very disappointed to discover that after purchasing a years subscription yesterday that I am not eligible for the 500 SC a month beacuse I used SC to make my purchase. I have guaranteed SOE I will be supporting their game for an entire year and think that I should be entitled to the 500 SC a month also.

Please reconsider this.

Thank you
