As the post says -- the client will crash when attempting to open the marketplace -- both from the character select screeen as well as in game.

Can you open a support ticket and include your DXDIAG/MSINFO? Post your incident number here when its open. In the meantime I'll try to reproduce the crash in game.

Do you have any custom UI modifications? Many changes went in on the marketplace and using a custom UI that isnt up to date can result in a crash. Lets just rule that out before we move on.

Doh -- using fetish -- so thats probably the problem -I will delete that marketplace file and respond. Things like this make me feel silly-- UI should be the first obvious thing I check .

eq2ui_global_marketplace.xml is the correct file for the store isn't it?

You were spot on as usual -- deleting the global marketplace file did the trick. Thank you for reminding me of my own level of inattentiveness . I will close the ticket.
