I thought every expansion came with a month of game play, so I added $25 worth of station cash to the 500 I already had from the last time I renewed for a bit to play and bought AoD for some beastlord action.

Turns out it didn't give me a month of game play. And of course when I bought my monht, it gave me 500 station cash I could have used to fund the AoD purchase.

Can't believe they didn't give a month out with the expansion. Most all-in-one packs do that.

Plus SOE switched course again and AoD wasn't an all in one...unless they changed it at the last minute.

Well that's a bummer. Coulda sworn I read that a free month came with it, but that might have been from some gaming site and so many of those don't do any real research or fact checking any more.

Might put a damper on my idea of possibly doing a second AoD account since the price tag would be $50 and not $30.

Thanks for the info guys. Now I've still got $5 in station cash with nothing much to do with it.

Free (formerly Bronze) accounts cost NOTHING to open. What exactly is costing you? If you want to 2-box your Beastlords, then you'll have to pay for something. If you want to 2-box your wizards then its free.
