Tradeskill apprentice and Test.

<p>Niami posted a walkthrough of TS apprentices <a href="http://eq2.eqtraders.com/articles/article_page.php?article=g471" target="_blank">here</a>.</p><p>Basically, A tradeskill apprentice will teach you new recipes after some research time. I will definatedly NOT log in every day for daylies on all of them.</p>

<p>Just thought I'd point out to folks that the daily quest has a (rare) chance of giving one of the special reactants of the appropriate tier as the reward, so it's worth doing the daily quest as often as possible, and anyone will be able to make the recipes regardless of whether you do instances/raid or not.</p>

<p>I finally managed to get into Test and started my carpenter on research, doing level 80 to start though, as she can't use 90 stuff yet <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" />.</p><p>I also have a sage doing level 60 research, a 30 woodworker doing research, a 30 armorer, a 30 alchemist <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.  Gonna have to get levelling these guys one of these days!</p>

<p>OOps i saw this late.  I am researching priest / mage items (mostly for Kuulei since she is 90 warden).  I see that no mater what level you're researching, the reward from the apprentice will be for the current tier your able to craft in.  So if your a 90 and researching 80 and below, you'll still get awarded T9 common / rare / reactant it its not a potion that you get.</p>

<p>I've got a tailor researching stuff, starting with the level 90 recipes. I've got the fury/warden tunic recipe so far.</p><p>Honestly I don't see recipes being the problem though, it's getting the reactants. Especially on Test. I keep doing the daily quest, no sign of one yet /sigh.</p>

<p>Alchemist (I started researching a level 60 item when I was level 61ish) and am now 90. I'm going to drop down and do them in order from level 10 up. Those should go quick as they are 2 day researches.</p><p>I also picked up Weaponsmith Apprentice last night with Hordolin (lvl 51/2) and am starting at the level 10 items.</p>
