Why have i been billed for the X-pac when i can't access the game???

<p>Nobody has access to it yet. If you're tired of waiting for the servers to come up, perhaps playing a trial of something like Vanguard would distract you for a while.</p>

Simple, billing happens when billing happens. As good as technology is, processing potentially thousands of AoD orders in the split second that the servers go live isn't possible. The alternative is that they bill you -after- the servers go live, but then you would have to wait for billing to confirm they have the money before being able to access AoD content. It's all coming soon(tm)!

<p>Bluntly put, we all got billed for AoD on time. The billing process happens separately, so it happened when the game was still down.</p><p>SOE understands this and will add it to the list of "make good" issues. And I am certain that they will offer compensation for the aggravation and lost game time.</p><p>And game time is all we have lost here.
