I was able to get to the character screen, and it appears that 4 of my character slots which do contain characters are showing locked.

I never played EQ2X, but I was under the impression that subscribers would not be losing any slots as a result of the game going F2P. Is this incorrect?

you are posting pre-maturely. have you never logged in when the servers were locked?? if thats the case, then try it next week -- you'll see. anyway, characters are often missing and/or locked. panicking before the servers come up is pointless. once the servers are up, if your stuff is missing (which i seriously doubt will be the case), THEN you can send in tickets.

If this was working as intended, fine. If not, they need to know what is happening. It cost me nothing but a minute of my time to let them know about it.

It's not a point to argue about.

Servers aren't up, what you see will not reflect what may be when they are.

No one has any issues with you providing information

I have a question regarding character slots. I started play F2P just last week and understood that I get 4 char slots with silver membership. I am currently using one and still have3 free. But after the update, I can no longer create another character because it claims I have exceeded my limit. Note that I am also an old player of the original EQ2 $14.99/mo but have not renewed my subscription. Does it mean that my old chars from the original have taken the place of my free slot? Thank you in adavance for taking the time to read this.

That includes characters on our EU regions, US regions, EQ2Extended region (Freeport), or our Live Gamer servers Vox/Bazaar.

I see. Thank you very much for clarifying the issue and answering my question very quickly =]. Though I am bit down that I've lost my free slots after the merge.

I purchased two character slots months ago, used one, and had the other open until the f2p cpnversion today. Now I have no open slots.

I had one character on the Freeport (EQ2X) server, which has now been added to my character list, but i was led to believe by SJ that we would still have any purchased (and unused) slots still available to us. Our EQ2X characters would be added to our account, and not take away our purchased slots.

Please refer to post: http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2x...?topic_id=11111

When it comes to resolutions that will require me getting your station name, and specifically for the character slot issues, we want to keep it all tracked.

Has this changed?

We gave you free slots to accomodate this as long as the characters were created prior to the cutoff date (which was 11/10 I believe)

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. On dec 8th in the morning i bought a character slot to be able to create a beastlord. When i went to create him it said i needed AoD. Ok thats no problem, I bought the AoD later that evening and now my character slot that i bought is gone. I have submitted a ticket and am still waiting to hear back but i just wanted to ask anyone else.
