Please make the following changes to reforging so that it will actually be a viable feature that is worthy of the amount of money you are asking for it.

1) Allow us to convert one stat to another stat that already exists on an item.

2) Allow us to move all (not just 40%) of one stat to another stat. You can even keep the 10% penalty.

This will allow for maximum flexibility from the system.

players should not be penalized in anyway when they have to correct itemization issues that result from Dev ignorance.

There should be no penalties with reforging. There should be no restrictions with reforging.

Just add a signifcant cost for "extreme" changes. This game needs waaaaaaaay more plat sinks anyways.

I dont understand why reforging incurs a penalty either. if you wanted you could use lore to say reforging IMPROVES base items(or even maintains), instead of has loss of quality. i see no gameplay or necessary lore reason to have penalty. if inq want multiattack instead of spellautoattack, let them. can anyone say a legitimate reason to limit players options in this dept? i was excited about reforging, now its just fluff and a way to make your gear worse. proper accessorizing is superior to degrading mixmatched into appropriate stats. this in no way puts itemization burden on players. devs still have to make items right since players cant fix them. the concept of having a high quality raw material and turning it into a specialized weapon is not a novel idea. its what aspect of war, bloodied remnant of rage, etc ARE ALL ABOUT! reforging is the same idea. in fact reforging is MORE flexible in that you can revert item back to original state and its quality returns, and is usable as raw for new weapon.

You should be able to change 1 blue and 1 white stat. You should be able to COMPLETELY remove a stat. <- This is a big one alot of player may not want AOE auto atk at all as a static gear stat.

Its "Until Canceled" and puts your Auto Attack AOE down to -1000%. Problem was already solved.

I was thinking ...

Perhaps allow us to be able to remove one stat and add one for a price comparative to the amount of the stat with a cap of your level.

Meaning:

I'm a level 90 Guardian.

I got myself a really nice spear I like with +90 STR +75 WIS but I want to remove the WIS as I don't use it.

I would pay 90 plat to have the WIS removed and +90 STA added instead.

Would be a good money sink for all those plat people say they have loads of.

But it would have to be something that can happen only maybe once every 7 days or month.

Same thing could be done with changing adorn slots or additional affects like MA and Casting Speed.

I wonder if the restrictions (which feel almost arbitrary) are due to technical programming issues (like it cannot be done with the system or time to develope) rather then balance issues. Frankly I lean towards some technical reason as this has always felt like a way for them to lower the priority on fixing itemization.

Unless all the brawler/beastlord loot is redo there needs to be a fair amount of limitation with what can be done with white stats, allowing all their 3 stat items to have the stats bumped around without restriction would be seriously unbalancing.

White stats might be to much to balance due to the brawler/BL loot becoming to strong, but in reguards to the blue stats i.e. CB Pot Reuse MA Flurry ect ect... All of it should be allowed to be fully removed or added (at a 80-90% return rate so its sorta balanced).

Cost wise, it should be a reasonible and fair amount, im not going to throw any numbers just cause it wouldnt help any, this whole petition should be about allowing more stats to be taken and given to items and how much of said stat we are allowed to take and add.

Lets try to keep this thread on this kind of positive track, and hope we get a responce from the big guys in Red if this keeps up going well

Critical chance would be nice to reforge. It's a valuable stat...

Yes but it is also very easy to get, would like to see that go in as well since it is a blue stat and all blue stats should be allowed to be reforged into other or more of the same blue stats.

I run on High Quality with all Particles on Maximum, but I have been having alot of problems with the game recently, like teleporting mobs etc. So idk...

can we get the option to erase the particle effects on the stuff by adding a new one of those particle effects thingers while reforging the gear. i dont want more effects i wanna take the ones i have now off.

I have some crafted appearance gear items (Like the new Candy-Cane Sword) that would look EPIC with the frost effect on them.

please add crit chance to the reforger. it's common enough to not be overpowerd but important enough to offer great flexibility in gear/aa choices.

I can only ever reforge the first stat in the list.. the dropdown for source stat just never has more than one stat in it. Am I missing something here?
