Just got the download of the new launchpad.

It appears that it's hanging- I've let it be for an hour, and it still doesn't work.

I've rebooted, cleared cookies/cache, disabled firewall/AV, and it still won't work.

Attached is a screenshot, and here's the contents of .downloadinfo.txt:

**** Starting at Fri Dec 02 13:08:40 2011 with plug-in 1.0.3.153 ****

Finished downloading 11,775,160 bytes in 6.815 seconds (1,727,829 bytes per second)

Launchpad.log is totally empty.

You can do a repair install with the LP4 installers that I've posted here, http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=509747

Here's what I've done to date: remove/reinstall Java (both 23 and 64-bit editions), remove and reinstall flash, both 32 and 64-bit editions, cleared flash cache, rebooted, changed temp environment variable

I've tried the repair install, which failed, however after doing so, I now have some content in LaunchPad.log:

**** Starting at Fri Dec 02 18:16:28 2011 with version 4.0.0.312 ****

[Console] jquery.tools.min.js(14) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.cookie-modified.js(97) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.mousewheel.js(13) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.jscrollpane.min.js( : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.dataTables.min.js(16) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.zrssfeed.min.js(1) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.easing.js(39) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.mediascroll.js(1) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] launchpad.js?v=258(67) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] omnitureCalls.js?v=258(1) : Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined

[Console] ?t=86861&options=tcg:1,full:1(744) : Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined

Looking in to what may cause those errors but it seems to be either file corruption or some type of security feature preventing the scripts to run properly.

Can you double check that no proxy is set and that your security levels for the internet are defaulted?

Proxy:

Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections Tab > Click LAN settings > Uncheck everything under Proxy Server.

Security levels:

Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Security Tab > Click the internet zone > Click Default Level.

Did both of those and still no change. Same LaunchPad.log entries:

**** Starting at Fri Dec 02 18:45:50 2011 with version 4.0.0.312 ****

[Console] jquery.tools.min.js(14) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.cookie-modified.js(97) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.mousewheel.js(13) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.jscrollpane.min.js( : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.dataTables.min.js(16) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.zrssfeed.min.js(1) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.easing.js(39) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] jquery.mediascroll.js(1) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] launchpad.js?v=258(67) : Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

[Console] omnitureCalls.js?v=258(1) : Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined

[Console] ?t=49728&options=tcg:1,full:1(744) : Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined

I've double checked that it isn't my firewall as another computer on the same network is working fine with the new launcher.
