For the first time, you and your fellow players can create new content for the game, play through a constantly changing list of player-created dungeons, and get rewards whether you are a dungeon builder, adventurer, or both!

We recently ran groups of press folks through a "tour" of the Freeport revamp and the AoD feature set. We ended each tour with a demo of Dungeon Maker and what it could do, and we were met with a lot of excitement about the potential once players get their hands on this stuff.

There's a lot to be excited about, and if you aren't currently involved in the beta testing (at present about 4000 of you *are* involved), then you haven't seen much about Dungeon Maker yet. So here's a preview so you know why this feature will be fun, as either a builder or an adventurer.

I have a couple of questions, do you have object that block the path of adventurers until a "key" mob is killed? (Cell Doors, locked doors, force-fields)

Can you set some mobs to work ranged while others work melee or heal?

Also will the "ranges" of the buff items be displayed to the builder?

So.... Trying to understand here...... From what I read, you can't use your own character in these dungeons?? That's kinda lame. I was kinda wanting to go through the dungeons with my own characters not pre-planned ones. I was ok with the pre-layouts though to be honest that feature blows too but now I find out you can't even go through them with your own character?? Makes this a major dissapointment for me. I was expecting a scaled down Neverwinter Nights creation ability. What I have is more like Wario Ware DIY or maybe even not as much as that. Perhaps it will still be ok but I'm really not as thrilled about it as I once was and a little bit frustrated that it's not even remotely like what we were lead to believe.

So I gave up trying these links. I am just wondering if it has to do because I am from Europe.

Any expectations of being able to run them with your own character would have been wishful thinking or rumor perpetuated by players, not official information.

They mentioned in the podcat that they where looking for ways in the future to allow player characters into the dungeons, but they did not have a timefram for it.
