We have paid for 1 year, which is not due until late 2012. We took our card off and put it back within a very short period of time while we were under a full year of paid (by bank card) subscription, and it says today, that I have not been continuous for 31 days?

How can a sub paid in advance (by a bank card) that will not expire until 2012 NOT be continuous and that same card is on file today and the sub itself has not been interupted?

The requirements are for an active, recurring, subscription. When you cancel your subscription it is no longer set to recur thus it does not qualify as an active, recurring, subscription.

Since the account is not considered to be an active, recurring subscription, we will remove our card permantly, remove the payment source and cancel the AoD expansion and will not place another card on file.

Account canceled. (to insure non-recurring status). Characters deleted. Game uninstalled. (to insure inactivity).

An undertaking (which can be cancelled at any time) to pay again next month is preferred to having actually paid for the next month, or the next 12 months.

I am very sorry to hear that you would quit over a 31 day CTS/Gifting requirement. You could just pick a new plan which moves you back to an active, recurring, state even if you don't actually pay for it until the end of your current paid time. In any case, we'll lock this up and wish you the best!
