Just curious, has anyone tried this? If so, how hard was it? Was general questing more group orientated?

All of us that were here when EQ2 launched did this - there were no AA's in those days. The mobs in places like WC, FG, Paw, SH, Rivervale, SolRo, CT, Perma, DFC were all heroic too. Even the fish in Nek Forest would jump out of the water and rip you a new one if you were low level and trying to hook up with a friend from Qeynos. At its base lvl the game was more fun as it did force people into duo, trio, or grps to complete these zones and down the nameds. Now the game is older, easier, wowified and broken (on purpose?) at the extreme top end causing people to leave the game.

With current game mechanics you can solo lvl to 90 with absolutely NO problem w/o any AA on any class in whatever quested or dropped gear you find. The game is that much easier.

Or about a current form of gameplay?

If I got a character to level 90 with less than 100 AAs, I'd probably delete it and reroll.

But we needed help on some of the encounters and we had to sneak quite a bit through nek. Everything else was basically grouping. My warden had almost no dps and i didnt care, because there was nothing to kill solo Some parts have been hard. The assassin pull in Runnyeye for example. Any add or roamer was mucho danger in any dungeon. Respwans and named posp have been quite tough sometimes.

Nowadays it should be possible because all is solo. But it doesnt make sense unless you are member of a progression guild. With AA you ll be able to solo/duo all heroic and most epic up to lvl80.

if you're soloing, sure.

If you want to group, it might depend on your class. Remember, others will be taking AAs and you might have issues trying to tank without them.

I know my zerker's pretty squishy without some of the mitigation AAs :/

Right now, you put a group together, someone mentioned Runnyeye, well, you plow through it like nothing and everything is orange and red con.

Or grab the AA and dont use it, that way you dont have to trash the toon
