<p>Destiny of Velious redirected the aim of equipment based on the added necessity of >100% critical hit chance and critical mitigation values, as well as the change to turn "double attack" into "multi attack." Additionally, a number of effects appear to have been phased out from armor over time, such as Stoneskin effects.</p><p>Will Age of Discovery reshape equipment again in a new way, or will we simply be seeing more of the same in regard to equipment and desireable stats?</p>

<p>Are there any current or future plans on the shelf to allow purchase of seperate pieces of AoD? Such as buying just beastlords and AA or mercenaries etc.</p>

<p>Question regarding the Dungeon Creator feature:</p><p>Why is it that we're only allowed to use NPC's in the dungeon finder?  If NPC's are the only option, can we at least customize those NPC's to some extent? (Appearance, abilities, etc.)</p><p>Asking because... as a storyteller, being able to take your character through said custom made stories is a pretty big deal!</p>

Mercs: Will we be able to cast / affect them with group buffs? If so, does this mean paladins can cast their group friend buffs on them such as Resolute Faith. If so, then will you then remove the restriction placed on crusader squires not being able to cast on them to use this buff for the crusader's benefit (used to not be there).

<p>AA! For many of us this is the only thing appealing about the expansion, and we need to know how many aa there will be and how it will be distributed. Yes, others have asked this question before, but I'm reposting the same question in hoes of a straight answer. If you want more pre oders this question should have been addressed weeks ago.</p>

<p>Mercs, Not much has been said about them yet. I have two questions:</p><p>What types of mercs will be available? Strictly tank/healer types like what started with EQ1 or are will utility/dps types also be available?</p><p>How good is the AI on mercs, I know in EQ1 they took significant tweaking after release to get them to be handy to have around.</p>

<p>Concerns/Questions:  These are based on my particular playstyle, and wishes prior to pre-ordering:</p><p>1.  AA limit/Tree breakdown:  What will be the new max/limits be?</p><p>2.  With the addition of a new class, Beastlords, what role can they expect to play in the heroic/raid scene?</p><p>3.  Kander mentioned in a recent post, that there were numerous changes to Challenge Raid zones/encounters.  Will these changes be part of AoD?  If not, how soon after launch can we expect more progress made in this area?</p>

<p>what I'd liek to know is are crafters going to get left out in the cold again like they have with the special items from dungeons on these new TS apprentice recipes/reforging particle effects things becuase of availability.</p><p>the items from the instances are so rare as it is that you can run all the dungeons of a type (like all ToFS instances) kill every encounter within them, kill every mob, and not see 1 of them. which means if your a pure adventurer, if you see these on the broker, they are astronomically priced.</p><p>while it is nice to have interdependance between crafter/adventurer types, right now it is so horribly skewed in the adventurers favor as to not be believed. a crafter should not be entirely at the mercy of adventurers if the items are going to be so rare that they are frankly worth more sold to people unable to do the content then made into items by those that can get them...and they sell for huge prices. 100s of plat per, simply becuase of how rare they are.</p>

I doubt it very much, no NDA lift or open beta....unreal guys....Now a pod cast on the eve of release...probably to tell us the expansion is pushed back to mid december and to try and tell us how hard they are working on it....really?  Try talking to the player base...we are the ones paying..</p>

<p>If i had learn to speak and write japanese, i would wrote to Sony to fire John Smedley for those poor planning and lack of communication with clients, why so quite and hold back beta or any teaser on AoD right down to final days.</p><p>we the customers dont want to buy it blind and feel cheated with cheap cop-out expansion.</p>

<p>Why didn't you allow the Tradeskill Apprentices to craft items we no longer have a yearning to make? Like why didn;t you allow the Apprentices to make Noxious/Trauma/Elemental/Arce potions for us and our alts in stacks of 100 and flag them Heirloom? I go mind numbing suicidal when I have to make enough pots for me and all my alts..</p>

<p>Since absolutely nothing what-so-ever has been stated on this yet:You claim there will be in AA increase but nothing more has been said.What is the AA cap increasing too?  Are the limits on the individual AA trees staying the same, or are those increase as well?  If increasing, which trees and to what extent?</p><p>Reforging:What exactly does this entail?  Can you completely rebuild the stats on an item to better fit your play style/gear level?  (and correct for the ignorance in itemization itself).  Or is it extremely limited and you can only make very minor changes.</p><p>The answers to those 2 questions will greatly impact the number of players that buy this "expansion".</p>

I think with the price of this update and other false-hoods from smokejumper and the rest of this cast i am truley dissapointed...not a very good way to treat your fan base. No updates , no information and nothing on the update but they want you to pre-order.....this is not a good marketing move at all.</p></span></p>

Give your paying customers a toggle to turn such things off if they choose to. <p>I would like to know if the AoD xpac requires the DOV to benefit from it, I didnt purchase DOV when it first came out, lack of funds made it impossible for me, i was hoping to recieve it with this xpac as we have always had the previous expansions included before. As it is now clear we wont be, should i cancel my pre-order? I would also like to know why we are missing out on this xpac yet still paying the same price. I have read many posts where ppl talk about free content later on if you have DOV, what about those who purchase AOD and DONT have it? will we be excluded from this "free" content even though we have paid for it? Which doesnt make it free, i pay my reaccuring monthly sub and have purchased my xpac, and all previous xpacs excluding DOV.</p>

<p>I am very interested to know how Beastlord Warder AAs will work. In the webcast, they mention about different warder families having different AA trees. As BLs have the same number of AAs as other classes, are we going to be able to "share" the same number of AAs in the warder trees? (e.g. you can spend the same 100 points in each warder tree, because the AAs you have spent only activate when you have one particular warder out, whilst the other warder trees are "greyed out" if that makes sense). Otherwise will we have to respec every time we change warder pet?</p>
