8K ping on entering game

<p>For the last few weeks when I enter the game my ping rate goes up to 8K. After about two minutes I get the welcome screen, and about two minutes after that the ping rate goes down to the 150 range and I can play. What can I do to fix this as I often die before the ping rate goes down far enough to play?</p>

<p>We can help look in to whats causing those ping spikes when you log in.  Contact our staff directly and we'll run you through some tests.  The threads linked above cover an ongoing EU server latency issue that we're all dealing with at the moment so if you are a US server player you don't need to go over that.</p>
