Station cash is part of our lives now and it would be nice if there were a section for discussing all things station cash.

We should rather discuss a doable way to get rid of it.

I dont hate it and i dont care people buying, but regarding healthy mechanics this feature is not acceptable and never will be.

I have used it, but don't make a habit of that. That said, why is it unhealthy for mechanics? None of the things sold there are necessary to have in order to play and have a fully functional game on live servers. If someone wants to spend their money on pretty things how does that effect mechanics?

The common response from games with limited or lessening sub bases is to milk those left for more money to make up the deficit. Hence the increasing prevalence of cash shops in P2P games. Even Guild Wars, which only supports itself from an initial box fee, heard quite a stink when it first opened its cash shop, but I could hardly blame them. It's a little harder to take when you're already paying a sub fee, though; I'll grant you that.

Moot point.
