View Full Version : LoN Crashing Everquest 2

<p><span style="color: #00cc00;">This is a recurring problem for me, I am in Everquest 2 and I click on the LoN Button and enter game and it crashes Everquest 2 (since it is Everquest 2 that is crashing I have decided to ask here.</span></p><p><span style="color: #00cc00;">This is what I get on the pop-up window as the game shuts down.</span></p><p>Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Liabrary</p><p>Program: C:SonyEQ2EverQuest2.exe</p><p>This program has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.</p><p>Please contact the application's support team for more information.</p>

<p>You may need the update I've linked below. Make sure you select the x86 package! </p><p><a href="http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26347" target="_blank">[Microsoft VC++ 2005 Service Pack 1]</a></p>

However, there is no reason to be leery. I'd be more worried that any day now you will lose all support entirely, even ours, once Microsoft reaches it's end of life for XP.</p>
